The meeting adj ourned.
The meeting of the Historic District Committee was held on August 10, 1998 at 219 Elm Street,
Northampton. Chairman Denny Nolan called_ the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. Members present
were Lynn Posner Rice, Noinian Winston, David Murphy, Marisa Labozzetta, and Louise
Jeffway. Applicants present were Karl and Kari Knapp.
Order of Business was to review the application of Karl and Kari Knapp of 219 Elm Street.
Application was to remove existing porch and rebuild the same with three changes: 1) columns
will be one inch narrower and will have a one inch bevel on comers; 2) balustrade change; 3)
cornice detail added.
i _The Committee reviewed the application anti issued a Certificate of Non-Applicability and may
move ahead in getting a building permit.
